Content Manager
Nov 10, 2025
Location: Hybrid (Remote + In-Studio on Filming Days)
Type: Part-time / Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Role Overview
As our Content Manager, you will be the creative engine behind all our digital communication. You’ll manage content across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter) and the podcast blog. You’ll work closely with the Host (Charles) and the studio team to plan, capture, edit, publish, and monitor high-quality content that reflects the energy and ambition of the Kampala Design Podcast.
You’ll also be present during filming — whether behind-the-scenes personal content or full podcast video recordings — capturing moments, helping with direction, and ensuring we always have material for storytelling.
This is a hybrid role: mostly remote, but in-studio when we’re filming or running events/activities.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a content strategy for all podcast and studio digital channels.
Draft captions, write blog articles, upload episodes, and manage platform-specific posting schedules.
Capture behind-the-scenes content, short-form clips, and storytelling moments during shoots and interviews.
Edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional assets.
Manage the YouTube channel, including titles, thumbnails, metadata, SEO, and upload workflows.
Maintain and regularly update the podcast blog on the website.
Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms.
Track audience growth, engagement, analytics, and insights for continuous improvement.
Suggest new content formats, series, and ideas to strengthen our digital footprint.
Who We’re Looking For
A creative content thinker with strong instincts for storytelling, trends, and digital communication.
Skilled in content planning, social media management, and video editing for short-form platforms.
Comfortable working independently and collaborating with the host during shoots.
Reliable, proactive, and available whenever filming is happening (usually scheduled in advance).
Familiar with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and blog publishing workflows.
Experience with podcasts, media production, or design-related content is a strong bonus.
Why Join Us
Work on a growing, culture-shaping platform in Uganda’s design and tech community.

Be part of Biara Creative Studio’s expanding ecosystem of design, tech, and media products.
